Parish Footpath Observers (PFOs) 

PFOs are the first line of defence in the effort to keep our footpath network open to all.  They monitor the condition of the paths in their parishes at least once a year - and report any issues encountered.

The Tonbridge & Malling Borough Council area contains 28 parishes and our goal is to have one or more PFOs for each of these parishes. If you walk regularly near where you live, you may well be doing the job already!
